Taylor Swift’s Favorite Perfume: Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille

So, Taylor Swift just dropped her new album Life of a Showgirl last week and you know we had to give her a little shout-out. I’ll be honest -- I’ve never been a diehard Swiftie.

Do I like her music? Sure. Do I play it on repeat every day? Not really (though there are definitely a few songs that have lived rent-free in my head for years).

But what I do share with Taylor? A love for warm, woody scents, especially from Tom Ford.

Jen, how do you even know this about Taylor?

Back in August, I was writing a blog post on our Muse Collection and got curious to see which celebrities love the same kind of designer-inspired scents that we do. One rabbit hole later, I found myself discovering that quite a few well-known names are fans of the same olfactory families our candles are inspired by.

And guess who popped up? Taylor Swift!

Turns out, she’s a fan of Tom Ford -- particularly his woody fragrances. As a fellow woody-scent girlie, I had a little fangirl moment. Not necessarily because it’s Taylor, but because it’s always fun to find someone who shares the same scent preferences, especially when that someone just happens to be one of the most recognizable women on the planet.

Taylor Swift and Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille

Now, while Taylor has never officially confirmed that she wears Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille, the Swiftie community is famously thorough. According to fans (and a TikTok moment that basically broke fragrance Twitter), there’s strong evidence.

In a clip from the official RuPaul’s Drag Race account, RuPaul alum Xunami Muse meets Swift and says, “You smell so good. What is that?” Taylor seemingly replies, “Oh, thank you, it’s Tom Ford.” Muse reacts, “Tom Ford! It’s so nice.”

While she didn’t specify which Tom Ford scent, fans have long speculated it’s Tom Ford Santal Blush or Tobacco Vanille perfume -- and honestly, it tracks. Both fragrances are warm, sultry, confident, and timeless -- all words that describe Taylor herself.

Meet Sincerely Sunday’s Tobacco Vanille

Inspired by Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille, our version captures the essence of the iconic scent, without the hefty designer price tag. I’ve personally smelled and tested the original Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille cologne many times before deciding to include our interpretation as part of our core collection, so trust me when I say: it’s pretty damn spot on.

Our Tobacco Vanille Deconstructed Candle is a sophisticated blend of smoky tobacco, creamy vanilla, and exotic spices -- creating a scent that’s equal parts seductive and comforting. It commands attention with its bold depth, yet carries this soft, sensual confidence that lingers long after it’s gone.

It’s the kind of fragrance that reminds you of someone unforgettable -- a fleeting interaction that leaves a lasting impression.

When to Burn Tobacco Vanille

Personally, I love burning Tobacco Vanille in the evening -- when the sun goes down and it’s time to unwind from the chaos of the day. Its rich, warm, and slightly smoky character sets the perfect mood for relaxation, especially in the bedroom or living room.

But honestly? There’s no right or wrong time to enjoy a scent. If the comforting blend of vanilla, tobacco, and spice energizes you in the morning -- go for it. If it’s your wind-down ritual after dark, same.

The best time to burn a scent is simply when it feels right for you.
