5 MINUTES IS ALL IT TAKES

Empty sage green candle vessel on white background, representing selecting a vessel for candle making.

1. Select Vessel

Use a vessel that is approximately 3" wide that can withstand heat, won't leak, crack, or catch on fire.

Hand threading a cotton wick into a sage green candle vessel using a wick holder, preparing the vessel for candle making.

2. Prep Vessel

Place the wick in the center of your vessel, using the wick holder to secure it in place.

Pouring melted coconut-soy wax from a Sincerely Sunday Deconstructed Candle pouch into a sage green vessel.

3. Melt + Pour

Place wax bars into the pouch and microwave for 2 minutes or until the wax has fully melted. Once the bag is cool to touch, pour the liquid wax in your vessel.

Using wick trimmer to trim cotton wick of freshly poured candle in sage green vessel, completing the candle-making process.

4. Cool + Enjoy!

Let your candle cool for approximately 3 hours. Trim wick to 1/4” and enjoy!

Thank you so much! I love my candles and can't enough of the scent.

Making candles seems daunting but Sincerely Sunday makes it super easy. I thought I would mess up on my first deconstructed candle because I'm just an overall clumsy person and always need to read instructions 20x before I do something to make sure it comes out "perfect", but the instructions provided make this foolproof annnnd I get to reuse the glass vessels. I've already made two deconstructed candles so far with so much ease. Some photos provided show Santal Noir, which is no longer in stock, but I'm including them as a reference for how absolutely easy it is, and what your finished product can look like.

What I love about this candle is that it's not overbearing. This is a beautifully made alternative to Le Labo's Santal, which can be a bit too heavy on my nose. Sincerely Sunday's Santal is a literal staple in my home. I love this so scent much I have at least four deconstructed pouches reserved for when I have finished my current Santal candle from SS.

I'm not the biggest fan of musky scents but this hits a good happy medium for me with its wooden notes combined with musk - a great fall candle to read by!

Takes me back to the time I went hiking in Redwood National Park in California. The fresh woodsy scent just takes me back.
